Earth’s space defences are unadvanced. For years, the human race has been fighting a losing battle against the Trilex, a much more advanced alien race who initially wanted to help Earth become more technologically advanced until the humans attacked and stole their technology. A group of Irish spies known only to the Irish government, Rannán Macalla (Echo Division in English), work to infiltrate the Trilex and bring peace to Earth and power to Ireland. If the Trilex or the powers on Earth discovered what they were trying to do, it would mean the destruction of the Macalla and the Irish government.
